  Summerfield has helped my faith in ways too numerous to list. I have been attending Summerfield for ten years and have been a member for nine years. Prior to my arrival at SUMC, I was navigating the seas of spirituality alone, and because of a severe depression, my faith was shaken. The very first time I came to SUMC, I attended the Cappuccino Service. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered the building. The Cappuccino Service was key in restoring my shaken faith, as it was an interactive service that worked from the center (spiritual) outward (experiential). As my faith was renewed and was growing I was able to participate in growing measures, I was never pressured to participate in ways beyond my capacity. I was, however, encouraged to expand my capacity. In this way SUMC has helped and expanded my faith.
